The Shortbread Studio founders asked L&A’s Missy Nery to create a brand image that was modern and expressed the artisan craftsmanship of their products. Additionally, the identity design must be flexible and applied to future marketing efforts as the company grows and sells nationally.

Visual Identity We chose sans serif Eduard Pro partnered with serif font Adobe Garamond to support the desired brand attributes of modernity and nostalgia.
Packaging A cigar band-style wrap works beautifully with the client’s black tins and is easy to assemble. This solution also allows our client to offer customized packaging for corporate customers.
Color Primary and secondary palettes were developed for the Holiday and Classic Collections as well as multiple flavors of Short-Bites, the smaller version of their shortbread cookies.
